Rooftop Adventure
Our rooftop offers families over 9,000 sq. ft. for active, outdoor play, including the Tall Timbers wooden play structure, dinosaur dig area, and Rooftop Rhythms musical instruments. Please Note: Rooftop access is weather dependent and may not be available during your visit.
Tinker Shop
Work hands-on with real tools in the Tinker Shop. A safety briefing sets you up for success before you head to the workbench to build your skills with hammers, saws, and drills (fully supervised, of course!)
Ship-It! Distribution Center
Load packages on the conveyor belts, then scan and sort them for domestic or international transport! Pretend to drive a forklift, operate a crane, and calculate postage as you explore our globally connected economy. And don’t leave without a visit to our exterior crane cab, where you can look out over downtown Everett!
Import, Export, Our Port
The Port of Everett is a global hub of trade and transport. In our gallery you can pilot a tugboat, practice loading cargo, and find out what other different jobs people do at the port!
Engineer It
Every engineer knows that good ideas need to be tested and perfected. In Engineer It, you can design and refine the perfect paper airplane, experiment with different gears to turn a screw, and launch flying machines in our wind tunnel. Don’t like your results? Scrap it and do it again!
Puget Sound Ecosystems
Puget Sound’s unique ecosystem is right on our doorstep! Your family will discover creatures hiding in our tide pools and touch the bones of a grey whale who once swam through the Sound. Explore our local salmon’s journey to and from the Sound, while toddlers don costumes to crawl along a salmon obstacle course!
Art Hangout
Painting, sculpting, crafting—the Art Hangout is all about celebrating your creativity! Families can work together on projects using a variety of materials, then take their creation home.
Wildlife Rescue Clinic
Kid veterinarians to the rescue! Care for wildlife and build empathy skills at our vet clinic as you pretend to diagnose, x-ray, and bathe stuffed animals in need.
WaterWorks
Water moves up, down, and around in WaterWorks. With four different play areas to explore, you can experiment with simple machines and physical forces to splash, swirl, and splatter at our water tables. Don’t worry—you WILL get wet!
Transit Bus
The wheels on this bus don’t technically go round and round—but you can put on a uniform and hop into the driver’s seat for pretend play fun!
