GRANDfamilies

Registration is required for this special community program, which is intended to serve:
• Families in which a child or children aged 1-12 are raised full-time by grandparents or other extended family members.
• Children aged 1-12 in temporary or permanent custody of their grandparents due to the absence of a biological parent.
• Children aged 1-12 in other kinship care arrangements due to the absence of a biological parent.

GRANDfamilies is not intended for:
• Households in which one or both biological parents are caregivers.
• Families in which grandparents support one or both biological parents by regularly babysitting or caring for their grandchildren.
